I live in Plymouth, MN with my wife, Kaitlyn and dog Wesley. Graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2010 with a Finance/Marketing undergraduate degree, and now going back to SCSU (Online) to get my MBA.

Below are some of the ways we learned in class. My favorite parts of class were the hands on projects using modeling tools (Simile, SPSS Modeler). These allowed us to use new tools with powerful data engines that allow us to view problems and datasets in new ways!
Case Analysis
In MBA 616, we do case analyses which put us in the shoes of IT professionals and force us to problem solve a day in the life of an IT manager
Article Critiques
Article Critiques show us perspectives of people who live in the Information Systems world, and have us think critically about what they say and take a position on what they're viewpoints are. We can then see how our classmates have viewed the same thing from another point of view.
Hands on Projects
In hands on projects, we actually get our hands dirty so to speak. We take real world tools and work within them to solve a problem or build a model that can solve a problem. From using tools within Microsoft Excel to using modeling software like Simile or IBM SPSS to building our own personalized websites, we apply learning to actual software tools that expand our understanding.
